This photo series is part of my master thesis, an intermedial analysis of the displayed aesthetics of women‘s bodies in contemporary media culture. The thesis deals with the question if the medium photography is able to function as a sort of catalysator for improving equality issues and raising awareness or if photographs only provoke and trigger sexualization.
